How do you become a Halloween Stickman?
- Cut a large circle out of the posterboard, to use as the face. Use the thick marker to draw on a face.
- Tape the face to the sunglasses with the lenses popped out (if using).
- Add the black tape to the shirt and pants to look like a stick figure.
How many glow sticks does it take to make a person?
Aim for approximately 50 glow sticks for both the back and front of the costume. This will be beneficiary if any of the glow sticks break, don’t glow, or if you want to make more patterns.
How do you attach glow sticks?
To activate your glowstick regardless of size, you simply need to apply gentle pressure to the centre of the glowstick in a similar motion as if you were to break a pencil in half. This will then break the vial and allow the chemicals to mix creating the glow.
How do glow sticks work?
Glow sticks emit light when two chemicals are mixed. The chemical in the glass vial is hydrogen peroxide. By mixing the peroxide with the phenyl oxalate ester, a chemical reaction takes place, yielding two moles of phenol and one mole of peroxyacid ester (1,2-dioxetanedione).
